You will report to: MANAGER GEBS BUSINESS OPERATIONS.
Your Responsibilities :
- Build procurement processes for goods and services for direct and indirect process.
- Manage purchase orders, ensuring delivery and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Ensure deliveries well complying with defined Goals and Metrices of core processes.
- Main Goals: PO creation / Confirmations (within SLA)/ Invoice Mismatch, Supplier Performance On Time Deliveries / Open Order Report Management/Part Status Lead Time validation between different ERPs
- Provide regular updates and reports on procurement status, supplier performance, and cost savings.
- Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers in case of any price changes.
- Provide analytics to achieve inventory control goals and lead standard replenishment practices.
- SAP Master Data support and maintenance for service materials.
- Improve processes by studying current practices, designing modifications in partnership with partners.
- Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures in partnership with partners.
- Implement cost-saving programs and strategies to increase procurement costs based on cost trends and opportunities for savings.
- To be SPOC for all material related queries for the site/build location.
- Responsible for start metric for specified Projects/Critical Projects/ Complete site Projects.
- Proactive monitoring, tracking the material through the receipts process in IFS.
- Responsible for Distribution Inventory check/ Alternate supplier check.
- Monitor daily and share updates with Project team regarding orders that the Project team highlights for expedited handling.
- Active Participation in review meetings and Material update meetings with PMs/Site leaders.
- Responsibility for delivering process innovations and continuous improvement projects/ideas
- Participate in Lean projects
- Bachelor / Masters Business Administration or related field.
- Preferably 3+ years of relevant experience of Purchasing or materials management.
- Individual must have a customer focus for both internal and external customers.
- Exposure to backend Business Processes / Administration in Project life cycle in Operations Support.
- Prior experience working in business operations with hands-on experience of SAP CRM, reverse supply chain (RMA Warranty claims/returns)
- Flexible working hours: 7:00 - 9:00 to 15:00 - 17:00
