POSITION SUMMARY:
The Busser supports both kitchen and dining operations by maintaining cleanliness, resetting tables, and keeping service stations stocked. This role assists with guest service by delivering beverages and bread, clearing tables efficiently, and supporting servers as needed. Additional responsibilities include busing tables, folding napkins, and handling general cleaning tasks. A commitment to cleanliness and teamwork are essential. Positions are available at various locations on and around the mountain—placement will be determined upon hire.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Provide personable and courteous interaction with guests
- Support wait staff as needed
- Clear and wipe clean all tables and chairs
- Reset tables with china, glass, and silverware
- Provide water at tables and refill
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room, floors, walls, windows and windowsills
- Maintain cleanliness of bussing/wait station
- Buff and clean silverware after washing
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
- Other duties as assigned
WAGE:
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resort’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resort’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Hourly pay range: $18-$20
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of previous work history/education required
- Must be a minimum 16 years of age
- Must be on feet for extended periods of time; stand for long periods of time
- Must have good organizational skills
- Must maintain a professional well-groomed appearance
- Adhere to all safety policies
- Knowledge of restaurant table service, preferred
- Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with SSRC’s Service Excellence standards
- Lift approximately 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Must be able to obtain a Food Handler and Allergy training certificate or must attend Food Handler and Allergy training certification courses for Alterra Mountain Company within 14 days of employment (provided).

High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
Food and Beverage experience preferred
