Business/Sales Analyst - Eurofins Cosmetics & Personal Care, Inc.
Reporting directly to President, the Business Analyst will play a key role in contributing to financial strategy and analysis ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust accounting operations, and sound internal controls.
This person will drive timely and compliant month-end close, maintaining strong financial systems, and ensuring operational excellence. In addition, they will partner with leadership to provide clear financial insights that support decision-making and long-term growth. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-minded, and motivated to build a best-in-class analyst function. This role is hands-on, requiring a strong command of accounting principles, reporting requirements, and process improvement, balanced with the ability to provide financial guidance and analysis to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee general accounting operations, month-end and year-end close, in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Leads business unit budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling, to drive profitability and growth with a focus on aligning financial plans to actual performance and operational execution.
- Manage/implement internal controls, compliance requirements to ensure financial integrity.
- Improve and streamline financial processes, reporting structures, and ERP system usage to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide actionable financial insights and recommendations.
- Monitor key operational and financial metrics, highlighting risks, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive process automation initiatives and system enhancements to strengthen both accounting and reporting capabilities.
- Create and lead a financial strategic planning process for Eurofins business unit.
- Oversee and supports local accounting functions, such as billing, collections and accounts payables.
- Identifies trends in financial data and recommends further analysis or corrective action accordingly.
- Make recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit-generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies and provide financial analysis/supplemental reporting in support of management decision making.
- Serve as project leader for high-level financial reporting assignments.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
- Progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills—able to translate financial results into clear business insights.
- Detail-oriented, analytical mindset, with a drive to continuously improve processes.
- Hands-on, self-motivated, and eager to take ownership of accounting and finance operations.
