This role enhances analytics capabilities to support a One Thermo Fisher approach by delivering consistent, high-quality market insights.
It enables data-driven commercial decisions through target account identification, pipeline insights, and reliable dashboard reporting.
By improving data quality, segmentation, and reporting efficiency, the role enhances scalability and accelerates insight generation across the organization.

What will you do?

1. Support data management and data quality improvement

  • Monitor data quality, validate datasets, and support corrective actions when issues arise
  • Assist with Account information updates and Account-level segmentation including supporting Account Mapping processes
  • Collect, clean, and organize public external market data
  • Utilize AI-driven tools for data cleaning, tagging, and text normalization
  • Build simple automation scripts to improve data processing efficiency

2. Support the operation and management of the Market Analytics Platform

  • Support the operation and maintenance of Market Analytics Platforms
  • Manage data source connections, refresh schedules, and monitor system errors
  • Support dashboard stability, performance optimization, and troubleshooting issues
  • Support on-demand dashboard updates or simple dashboard development requests from commercial divisions.

3. Support business analysis

  • Conduct basic on-demand data extraction and analysis
  • Prepare datasets, create simple summaries, and support insight generation
  • Use AI tools to summarize market reports, identify signals in large text datasets, and enhance research efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, Life Sciences, Data Science, or related fields
  • 1+ year of experience in data analytics, business analytics, business intelligence or related roles; high learning agility candidates without prior experience may also be considered.
  • Ability to work with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Basic working knowledge of Python, SQL, or R
  • Proficient in MS office

Qualification

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams
  • Fast learner with curiosity toward new analytical and AI technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with business analytics or market research projects
  • Experience in data preparation (cleaning, transformation, validation)
  • Exposure to machine learning projects
  • Understanding of Life Science or Healthcare markets
  • Experience working with Salesforce or ERP-related data
  • Experience using digital tools for data analysis, research, or documentation
