Business Tax Senior Manager - M&A Partnership

Mowery & Schoenfeld is seeking an ambitious and curious business tax manager with particular experience and expertise in partnership allocations and M&A. This role will advise their business clients to navigate complex tax regulations, particularly during mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions. The successful candidate also enjoys mentoring younger staff, seeking ongoing learning, and providing exemplary client service.

Tax Managers operate as leaders and mentors within our Firm by demonstrating the ability to:

• Lead engagements by meeting client needs with a sense of urgency.

• Develop recommendations and maintaining client relationships by balancing the client needs along with other assignments and deadlines.

• Provide proactive advice based on their knowledge of tax law, particularly within business tax.

• Demonstrate initiative to creatively solve issues in collaboration with the lead.

• Leverage technology to automate both internal and client processes to improve efficiency.

• Act as a mentor to younger staff and work directly with Directors and Partners.
