Business Systems Analyst (BSA) API Integrations & Data Mapping
Role Overview
We are looking for a detailoriented and technically strong Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support system integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in API integrations, data mapping, and data analysis to ensure accurate data flow and seamless communication between systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for system integrations.
- Assess current system architecture, data structures, and workflows to identify integration needs.
- Develop detailed sourcetotarget mapping documents for data transformation.
- Collaborate with developers to design, test, and deploy APIbased integrations.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to improve system interoperability.
- Support SIT/UAT by preparing test cases, validating data flows, and troubleshooting issues.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, data quality, and security standards.
- Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Mandatory Skills
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of API concepts – REST, SOAP, JSON, XML.
- Handson experience in sourcetotarget mapping for integration/migration.
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
- Experience with integration tools such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, or similar.
- Strong documentation experience: BRD, FRD, process flows, mapping documents.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholdermanagement skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms – Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to work with crossfunctional teams and handle multiple priorities.
