About you and this role

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Business Process Specialist on the Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) Data Management team. This position is open for Mumbai, India. The role will align to Dow's Design Your Day approach and requires employees to work from office as per company policy. The role requires applied knowledge in a range of technical and operational processes and procedures through job-related training and on-the-job experience in order to perform a variety of tasks to ensure master data meets quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end Customer & Vendor Master Data processes including creation, extension, modifications, mass loads, and data validations across multiple SAP systems via MDG / LSMW.
  • Meet SLAs for RTB support by ensuring high data accuracy, maintaining compliance standards, and delivering timely resolution of SNOW tickets.
  • Perform MDG testing for enhancement scenarios (role additions, block/unblock, support pack upgrades, MDG workflows, Introduction of new CR types, Country specific field value, etc.).
  • Creating and enhancing LSMW scripts for mass data upload for both Customer and Vendor domains.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Tax, Finance, Commercial, and Supply Chain—to manage tax‑related data and execute business‑critical master data updates.
  • Gathers and analyzes business requirements for assigned functional and technical areas.
  • Good to have BODS experience to build reports by joining multiple SAP tables, enabling efficient data extraction for validation and analysis.
  • Act as an escalation point and coach for members of your team by easily explaining complex processes


Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in IT/Computers discipline preferred or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • SAP Master Data knowledge is a MUST.
  • SAP project experience is a MUST.
