Business Intelligence Practice Leader

The Personal Services Business Intelligence Department handles data and analytics needs for the Personal Services Executive Division. The department designs and develops dashboards and analyzes end-to-end performance data to support decision-making. As a business intelligence practice leader, you play a strategic role in transforming data into value-added information to support and accelerate decision-making across the organization. You mobilize teams to fully leverage the potential of data and help achieve business objectives. You serve as a resource person and coach for management and decision-making bodies. You interact with a very large number of stakeholders working in a wide range of fields and advise decision-making committees on strategic directions and business positions. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Ensure the implementation of strategic, technological and competitive intelligence in business intelligence

  • Identify data valorization opportunities and assess their potential impacts, and implement them in the context of strategic mandates and positions

  • Oversee the identification of data valorization opportunities, define solutions and develop a roadmap that incorporates an automation plan aligned with management’s business plan

  • Serve as an expert advisor to teams in designing and developing solutions that address the various issues and needs identified

  • Optimize and standardize developments across analytical tools

  • Ensure the governance, coordination and compliance of development in-user environment (DUE) methods for the entire sector, while ensuring rigorous support for teams

  • Help professionals in your unit develop their skills

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Experience implementing and coordinating automation plans

  • Knowledge of French is required

  • Proficiency in analytical environments and BI tools (such as Power BI, Tableau and SAS)

  • Knowledge of cloud analytics solutions (like Azure)
