Business Immigration Paralegal
Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with a nationally recognized law firm in its search for a Business Immigration Paralegal to join its Washington, DC office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced immigration professional to work within a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting a high-volume business immigration practice.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of business immigration experience, with a strong background in PERM. This individual will play a key role in preparing and managing employment-based immigration matters and supporting attorneys and clients through all stages of the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file employment-based immigration petitions with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and other government agencies
- Handle PERM labor certification processes from start to finish
- Draft and prepare forms, support letters, and application materials
- Gather and organize supporting documentation and evidence
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and government agencies
- Maintain case files and track deadlines in a high-volume environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of business immigration paralegal experience
- Strong, hands-on PERM experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with INSZoom preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
- Estimated annual compensation: $77,000 – $90,000, commensurate with experience
- Eligible for discretionary bonus
