Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Head – Solar to lead and expand our solar business operations with a strong focus on international business development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the solar industry, global market expansion, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth. This role will be responsible for driving international sales, establishing overseas presence, and strengthening the company’s position in global renewable energy markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute global business strategies aligned with organizational goals.

  • Identify and penetrate new international markets for solar EPC, solar modules, rooftop, utility-scale, and related solutions.

  • Drive long-term growth plans and revenue targets.

2. International Business Development

  • Lead global market expansion initiatives across regions such as Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe, or other emerging markets.

  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.

  • Develop relationships with international clients, government bodies, distributors, and channel partners.

  • Participate in international tenders and large-scale solar projects.

3. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve annual revenue and profitability targets.

  • Oversee international sales operations, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.

  • Monitor pipeline, forecasts, and market trends.

4. Commercial & Contract Management

  • Lead negotiations for international contracts and agreements.

  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export policies.

  • Manage risk assessment for overseas projects.

5. Team Leadership

  • Build and lead high-performing global sales and business development teams.

  • Provide strategic direction and performance management.

  • Mentor senior managers and regional heads.

6. Market Intelligence & Branding

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.

  • Represent the organization at international exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry forums.

  • Strengthen global brand positioning.
