Business Development (m|w|d) - Chemicals
Leschaco’s main business is centered around the chemical industry and is one of the largest privately owned logistics companies in this space, with a footprint around the world. In line with continuous growth, we are looking to hire a Business Development Manager to continue this journey. Establish target portfolio with Vertical Head and Team Leader or Regional Head of Sales Engage the target accounts, making face-to-face sales calls whenever possible, meeting virtually otherwise Provide commercial support during business implementations and trials for all products Grow the GP independently and as part of a team Ensure regular, timely and complete updates in Salesforce Provide service requirements based on direct customer feedback to assist in vendor qualification and selection Provide commercial feedback for pricing/rate negotiation with vendors Develop regional business strategy for the vertical together with the Vertical Head and Regional Head of Sales Conduct market analysis and research Establish internal milestones and coordinate with the account owners Visit vertical-related fairs Join and engage in specific vertical associations Support and elaborate the yearly budget in the target vertical Sales process steps: opportunity – identifying, qualifying, quoting, negotiating, closing; implementation – new customer onboarding, integration, go-live
