Business Development and Channel Executive
The Promethean Business Development and Channel Executive role is an end user customer facing role, creating demand and opportunity for sales of Promethean panels and other solutions, building relationships in a defined territory and supporting wider demand creation activities. This role works pro-actively with Promethean’s reseller partners. The role will involve the presentation of the Promethean value proposition to schools, school groups, and regional education administrations, as well as to prospects in other vertical markets within both the public and private sectors as appropriate.
Base Range: €54,500 - €68,100 annually + Commission Eligible
The Promethean Business Development and Channel Executive role is an end user customer facing role, creating demand and opportunity for sales of Promethean panels and other solutions, building relationships in a defined territory and supporting wider demand creation activities. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research of each given territory to identify end users that are showing intent to buying IFPD, to create opportunity through evangelising the Promethean proposition
- Help the sales team to be in touch with local and National authorities related to the MoE department
- Business development activities to gain presentation appointments, both onsite and virtual
- Working with partners to support them with demonstration, product orientation and meeting requests
- Liaising with marketing and support resources to effect successful delivery of equipment
- Delivering compelling customer and partner presentations of a high standard
- Where appropriate, delivery of orientation sessions on products after customer purchase for larger opportunities to ensure seamless implementation and to ensure customer use of equipment is maximised to ensure further sales
- To ensure awareness of Promethean’s products and Services through meetings, work at trade shows and general demonstrations
- To develop, maintain and grow key contacts within educational organizations, i.e. schools, school directors, regional and state MoE officials, trade bodies, other market influencers
- To ensure Revenue goals are met and exceeded if possible while maintaining high levels of Contribution Margin and Customer Satisfaction.
