We are looking for a Business Analyst to work on a project in the fintech industry. The project: Our teammates are talented people that come from a variety of backgrounds. We’re committed to building an inclusive culture based on trust and innovation. You will be a key player in delivering a global payment platform at pace to enable prepaid card services. You will support the Product & Technology team by providing detailed documentation and structured artifacts to ensure the agile team has a clear understanding of the Product Owner’s vision and priorities. You will work within a distributed, cross-functional environment, collaborating across multiple squads and backend delivery domains. In addition to feature delivery, you will contribute to defining and improving payment processes and system automation, identifying inefficiencies, and driving operational excellence. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment. What you will do: •Break down large features into smaller, manageable user stories that are easier for the development teams to understand and implement priorities with clear acceptance criteria. • Ensure user acceptance by collaborating with stakeholders, defining measurable outcomes, and ensuring clear communication. • Document and ensure non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, security, scalability) are captured, preventing potential issues later in the development process. • Create visual representations of requirements, such as flowcharts, data flow diagrams, or use case diagrams, to facilitate communication and understanding. • Identify and document business rules that govern how the product should behave, ensuring the development team adheres to them. • Map out business processes to identify areas where the product can improve efficiency or solve problems. • Understand and model the data structure required by the product, ensuring it is designed to meet the needs of the users. • Participate in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. • Clarify requirements to the development team, preventing misunderstandings and ensuring accurate implementation. • Work with developers to manage defects and validate fixes. • Handle discovery work or spikes where needed to explore unknowns and support product decision-making. • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) by scenario development, scripting, coordination. • Helping users understand the new features and identify any remaining issues. What you will bring: • Strong experience as a Business Analyst in product-led, agile environments. • Solid understanding of card payment processes, including transaction lifecycle, authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and fraud monitoring. • Experience working with Product Owners on prioritization, defining acceptance criteria, and delivering against them. • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. • Experience modeling business processes using diagrams, flowcharts, or similar tools. • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and multiple squads. • Experience facilitating discussions, leading stakeholder meetings, and driving consensus. • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. • Experience working with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive mindset. Nice to have: • Previous experience working on global payment platforms or prepaid card products. • Experience improving operational processes within fintech or financial services environments. • Familiarity with system automation initiatives in payments or transaction-heavy platforms.
