Your Role

Based at the Belfast site, this role has been established to support the Brenntag Dublin depot through the implementation of SAP. In the initial phase, the position will focus primarily on acting as the customer interface for Brenntag Dublin.

As the Belfast site progresses towards its own SAP implementation as part of the wider UK SAP programme, the scope of the role will evolve. This development will be driven by increased understanding of business resource gaps and is expected to transition into a hybrid role spanning Customer Service, Operations, and Quality.

Responsibilities

Act as the end-to-end customer interface, including:

  • Processing customer sales orders

  • Issuing order acknowledgements

  • Advising customers of any changes to their requirements

Coordinate customer order fulfilment, ensuring orders are delivered on time and in full, by:

  • Working closely with Operations regarding filling schedules

  • Liaising with Stock Control on stock replenishment and lead-time expectations

  • Coordinating with Customs on trade tariffs

Work closely with Operations and Quality teams to ensure:

  • Documentation is issued accurately and in a timely manner

  • Transport requirements are met, including payload capacity planning

Review and improve current business processes by:

  • Identifying efficiencies in operational planning

  • Supporting a smoother transition from the current system to SAP, using knowledge gained from supporting the Dublin site

Initially, the role will have a direct reporting and operational link with Customer Service. As the organisation moves closer to SAP implementation, the role is expected to evolve into a hybrid function between Customer Service and Quality/Operations.

Your Profile

  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills

  • Solid business administration capability, with experience in a busy office environment

  • Highly organised, reliable, and with a strong attention to detail
