The public history program is a flagship program of the department of history which creates high impact experiences for students who build their careers through a series of encounters with museum professionals and course work. This is part-time position.Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
What you'll do and what you'll bring:
Position Description:
The instructor will provide in person instruction for sixteen weeks in the public history program for the class HIST 240 Introduction to Public History.
The instructor will create and implement curriculum for each class of the sixteen-week semester. The instructor will create, administer, score, and post grades in a timely manner for student feedback, midterms, finals, and final grades.
Minimum Qualifications:
The instructor will have at least three year of experience in the field of public history.
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have university teaching experience.
