How you’ll make an impact in this role

Step into a high-impact breast surgery role offering advanced robotics, academic engagement, and the opportunity to shape care within a mission-driven health system.

• Join an established team of 2 physicians and 1 APP
• Practice setting: St Agnes Hospital and local ambulatory sites
• Access to single-port robotics; robust plastic & reconstructive surgery services; a high-volume cancer center; and teaching opportunities with surgical residents and medical students
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Lead a comprehensive breast surgery practice by providing expert outpatient consultations and inpatient surgical procedures, ensuring a seamless, compassionate care journey from diagnosis through recovery
• Drive clinical excellence and innovation by collaborating with The Cancer Institute on complex cases and actively participating in peer-review and quality initiatives to maintain the highest standards of patient safety.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Fellowship training in Breast Surgery
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Training in single port nipple sparing mastectomy is highly preferred

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
