What you will be doing:

• Provide warm, professional, and personalized service in line with Forbes Five-Star standards
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver intuitive service, creating memorable and tailored experiences
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, offering knowledgeable recommendations
• Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and quality standards are consistently met
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu offerings, including breakfast, brunch specialties, and lunch items
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail across all service areas
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless and elevated service flow
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach
• Follow all health, safety, and responsible service standards
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including set-up and breakdown for all daytime services
• Other duties assigned

Located in the heart of Vancouver at Fairmont Pacific Rim, you will be part of a dynamic Food & Beverage team delivering exceptional daytime dining experiences. From early morning breakfast to vibrant brunch and lunch service, our team creates a welcoming, energetic, and elevated atmosphere for our guests.

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous serving experience preferred, ideally in a luxury or high-volume environment
• Strong understanding of, or passion for, Forbes Five-Star or luxury service standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
• Knowledge of food, wine, and coffee service is an asset
• Valid Serving It Right certification required
• Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
