Sales Representative Transport

As a Sales Representative Transport, you are responsible for developing, expanding and strategically strengthening our Transport department. You combine active prospecting with managing a customer portfolio and contribute to sustainable growth. Thanks to your expertise in the transport sector, you know exactly where opportunities lie and how to turn them into commercial successes. Key responsibilities 1. Commercial development department growth Actively contribute to the development of the Transport department, both commercially and strategically. Prospect new customers within transport logistics (B2B). Develop commercial initiatives to grow market position and volume. Prepare, present and negotiate transport solutions, quotations and contracts. 2. Relationship management Strengthen long ‑ term relationships with existing customers. Monitor customer satisfaction and respond proactively to new or changing needs. Act as the commercial contact point for transport ‑ related questions. 3. Market sector analysis Actively monitor trends in the transport sector, such as rates, operational challenges, competition and market movements. Detect commercial opportunities based on your sector experience and network. Advise management on strategic decisions within the Transport department. 4. Internal collaboration Work closely with planning, operations and customer service to ensure smooth implementation of solutions. Provide feedback to internal teams on market expectations, customer needs and improvement opportunities. Contribute to internal projects related to growth, efficiency and process optimisation. 5. Administration reporting Accurately maintain CRM data (prospecting, visits, pipeline, contract management). Report to management on revenue, growth, KPIs and pipeline development. Monitor margins and commercial targets.
