Productie Manager Gent X

As Production Manager of our Gent X sorting center, you are responsible for the smooth, efficient, and high-quality operation of production in a 24/7 environment . Your main tasks: · Take final responsibility, under the supervision of the Site Manager , for operations in Gent X and ensure timely and high-quality sorting and delivery of mail and parcels. · Work closely with the local management team (including the Technical Manager, Planning Manager, HR Business Partner, …) to guarantee quality production together. · Coordinate production , including direct management of shift supervisors and team leaders across the three shifts, ensuring continuity. · Prepare and execute the annual operational plan , focusing on financial KPIs, quality objectives, and workforce planning. · Optimize processes by implementing continuous improvements and supporting both local and national projects, including change management towards the team. · Develop supervisors and employees so they can work autonomously and grow in their roles. · Implement and monitor safety initiatives in line with company standards and regulations. · Maintain a constructive social dialogue by engaging daily with social partners. · Share and apply best practices across the different bpost sorting centers, in the spirit of “One Factory.”
