Hard Facilities Manager
As a Hard Facilities Manager, you are part of the CoC FM Building (Center of Competence) team. As a center of competence, we support the operational teams of Facility Services who maintain and keep more than 800 bpost buildings fully operational. In addition, through service contracts, we provide a framework in which external parties, responsible for both technical services and reception services, can deliver the expected level of service. As a CoC, we also serve as the point of contact for operational compliance and guide transformation processes within our department. We also ensure that the efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes are visible through performance indicators and data analyses. In other words, we dive into operational data to provide insights into current performance and implement optimization proposals for the future. Ensure the proper functioning of technical facilities: electrical systems, HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning), lighting, plumbing, doors/gates, infrastructure, and regulatory compliance. Define the overall vision for technical maintenance and the building roadmap, including associated technical specifications. Guarantee compliance, quality, and continuous improvement of technical facilities. Act as the owner of Hard Facilities contracts and ensure their operational deployment. Lead tenders, public procurement, and technical contracts in collaboration with the purchasing department. Monitor and evaluate the performance of external service providers, manage communications, escalations, and contract adjustments, and maintain long-term partnerships. Provide technical support to local teams (building experts, team leaders). Contribute to the drafting of technical specifications and the structuring of technical projects. Participate in and contribute to major technical programs (e.g., HVAC programs, lighting upgrade projects, electrical compliance). Analyze and report Hard Facilities data to identify opportunities for improvement. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and budgets, and ensure cost control. Manage at least one technical profile in a direct reporting line (e.g., Electrical Compliance Project Manager). Work closely with Facility Services teams and internal and external stakeholders.
