What are your contributions to the team?

 

  • Read and interpret plans and technical drawings
  • Install and repair mechanical components
  • Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems
  • Inspect and maintain mechanical systems (e.g. hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight control, etc.)
  • Prepare aircraft for flights (“refueling”, daily inspection) Participate in engine and APU (auxiliary power unit) tests
  • Make changes according to service bulletins while respecting industry standards
  • Perform other related duties

 

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

 

  • DEC or AEC in Aircraft Maintenance (Or Canadian Equivalent diploma) or M2 License or EASA B1 License or A&P (FAA) or equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in the aerospace field, as a mechanic and/or in a related field; and
  • Be proficient in French or English (spoken and written).
