Student Worker - IT Technician

Job Summary Provide basic software, hardware and network support related to faculty, staff, classroom and lab computers. Assist students/faculty/staff with technical issues and questions. Principal Accountabilities - Configure wireless access and client email on mobile devices - Install software and hardware - Update and/or upgrade software - Assist in lab computer configurations and imaging process - setup or relocate computer related equipment as needed - provide basic customer support for MS Windows, Office 365, Zoom and TEAMS - possibly some MacOS or Ios - maintain an organized work environment including technician work area and computer storage rooms - perform ceiling mounted projector maintenance (requires working on ladder 6ft - 12ft tall) - assist in configuring mobile devices to Blinn's wireless networks - perform other duties as assigned.
