Part Time Instructor - Welding -Dual Credit Waller ISD

Job Summary Provide part-time instructional operations for the welding program for dual credit at Waller High School Principal Accountabilities Provide instruction in credit welding courses following NCCER curriculum Track and document student mastery of NCCER competencies Submit NCCER documentation to college program staff for submission o NCCER database Model lab safety protocols for students at all times Require all students to follow lab safety protocols at all times Once a year attend professional development for dual credit welding instruction, as provided by the college Maintain office hours as set by the College. Prepare course syllabus, which includes stated objectives for the course. Stay current on developments regarding instructional methodology particularly supplemental, blended or on-line instruction and related instructional theories. Assist in making recommendations to the program coordinator regarding curriculum additions, deletions, or revisions. Utilize college's online Desire2Learn system to provide syllabus, student attendance, and student grades related to the dual credit course in real-time to students and college. Provide a grade evaluation on each student's performance in a timely fashion and frequency required by the College. Perform other Welding program related tasks, and attend part-time faculty meetings as assigned.
