Bioprocess Channel Sales Specialist EMEA (m/f/d)

Your challenges

  • Develop and execute EMEA go-to-market and sales strategies for direct and channel business, including pipeline building, forecasting, and performance management (CRM, MBR/QBR).

  • Drive the full direct sales cycle: identify and qualify leads, prepare proposals, conduct technical product demos (e.g., bioreactors, controllers, sensors), negotiate, and close deals.

  • Build, onboard, and manage channel partners across EMEA, including contracts, targets, enablement, and partner programs (pricing/discounts, deal registration).

  • Provide ongoing partner support through technical and commercial training, co-selling, joint customer visits, and assistance with quotations and tenders.

  • Deliver technical sales support and applications consulting for upstream bioprocessing (e.g., aeration/agitators, pH/DO control, PAT, scale-up) in cell culture and microbial fermentation, in close collaboration with internal experts.

  • Represent the company at international trade shows, conferences, and industry events, including technical presentations, posters, live demos, and systematic lead follow-up.

  • Manage complex quotations, proposals, and tenders, including technical specifications, compliance topics, and contract negotiations in alignment with Legal and Finance.

  • Develop and grow key accounts through strategic account plans, cross-/upselling initiatives, and close collaboration with Service/After-Sales, while feeding market and customer insights into Product Management and Marketing.

Your expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences with a minimum of 3 year of relevant experience

  • Laboratory experience with Bioreactors in cell culture and/or fermentation. Cell & Gene Therapy experience is a pre.

  • Expert fluency English and German (both written and spoken), preferably other languages as well

  • Familiarity with Microsoft office software as well as CRM solutions (MS Dynamics, etc.)

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to network effectively (internal and external) and establish effective working relationships

  • Excellent presentation skill

  • Experience in interacting with distributors

  • Motivated by change; ability to drive business with constant improvement intentions
