Eliot is seeking a dedicated Senior Administrative Assistant to join our Family Resource Center (FRC) team. The FRC is part of a statewide network of community-based programs offering multicultural parenting resources, support groups, and early childhood services. Our goal is to help families strengthen their bonds, connect with others, and engage in their communities.

As a Senior Administrative Assistant, you would conduct intakes, support families through culturally responsive plans and interventions, facilitate workshops, manage scheduling and billing processes, provide administrative and phone support, and connect with clients and community partners to coordinate services and ensure smooth program operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake assessment with FRC approved tools and screening measures.
  • Manage playroom and ensure safety of children with volunteers while parent(s) attend workshops.
  • Ensure that family support plans are culturally sensitive/strengths based and reflect identified needs and preferences.
  • Develop and execute creative and “outside the box” interventions to support individuals and/or families.
  • Conduct workshops or groups as assigned.
  • Perform general office duties including typing, filing, copying and collating.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the administrative staff to support the resolution of administrative issues related to the operation of the program.
  • Provide short term supportive interventions with families to insure “warm handoff” to referred services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field
  • Administrative experience
  • Experience working with youth and families
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm

Hourly Rate
$23.32$23.32 USD
