About the Job:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Bidding Specialist to spearhead the company's bid management process, focusing on government and large-scale institutional procurement opportunities. This role will be crucial in identifying new bidding opportunities, developing high-quality proposals, and ensuring compliance with procurement standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strategic mindset to enhance the company's competitive positioning in the bidding landscape.
Scope & Responsibilities:
Opportunity Identification:
Monitor government procurement portals (e.g., PhilGEPS) and other relevant databases to identify potential bidding opportunities aligned with the company’s products and services.
Evaluate requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and other solicitation documents to assess bid feasibility and strategic alignment.
Client Relations Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with government clients, procurement officers, and key stakeholders throughout the bidding process.
Represent the company at industry associations, conferences, and events to enhance visibility and expand the network within the government sector.
Proposal Development:
Lead the preparation and submission of bids and proposals in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all technical and commercial requirements are met as specified in solicitation documents.
Coordinate with relevant departments to gather necessary information and documentation for comprehensive bid submissions.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure all bid submissions comply with government regulations, procurement policies, and company standards.
Conduct detailed reviews of all bid documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before submission.
Bid Follow-Up:
Track and monitor the status of submitted bids, providing timely responses to any clarifications or additional information requests from government agencies.
Manage post-submission processes, including addressing feedback and coordinating with internal teams to refine future bid strategies.
Reporting and Performance Analysis:
Provide regular updates to management on bid activities, outcomes, and market insights.
Analyze bid performance and win/loss ratios to identify areas for improvement and optimize future bidding strategies.
