Benefits & Leave Administration Senior Associate
Location: Noida/Hyderabad India
Overview
The Senior Associate will support the administration of employee benefits, retirement programs, and leave of absence processes for both U.S. and India employee populations. This role focuses on delivering accurate, compliant, and timely execution of programs while serving as a key point of contact for employee inquiries and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
Benefits Administration
Provide day-to-day support for benefits operations, including responding to employee inquiries and resolving issues.
Assist with benefits enrollment activities, including open enrollment and life event changes.
Ensure accurate processing and maintenance of benefit elections in HR systems.
Coordinate with vendors/carriers to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
Support employee communications and education related to benefits programs.
Leave of Absence Administration
Support the administration of leave of absence programs including FMLA, short-term disability (STD), Earned & Casual Leave, Sick Leave, Maternity / Paternity Leave, and other applicable leave policies.
Provide guidance and information to employees and managers on leave processes, documentation, and timelines.
Track leave cases, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely updates in HR systems.
Assist in communicating leave status, approvals, and return-to-work timelines to relevant stakeholders.
Support compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, and local labor laws).
Retirement & Retiree Benefits
Support the administration of retirement and retiree benefit programs including Provident Fund and National Pension Scheme.
Assist with retiree benefit processing and provide support during employee retirement transitions.
Maintain accurate records and respond to retiree-related inquiries.
Ensure timely and accurate execution of retiree benefits processes.
Compliance & Reporting
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with benefits, retirement, and leave regulations and policies across U.S. and India programs.
Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and regulatory filings as needed.
Generate and maintain reports related to leave, benefits, and retirement programs.
Worker’s Compensation Support
Assist in coordinating and tracking worker’s compensation claims.
Support documentation, reporting, and follow-ups to meet compliance requirements.
Skills & Competencies
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
Solid understanding of benefits, retirement, and leave processes.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar field
3–6 years of experience in benefits and leave of absence
Experience supporting U.S. and India benefits and leave programs preferred.
Experience working with HR systems and benefits platforms preferred.
Hands-on experience with Workday (Benefits and /or Absence modules) strongly preferred.
HR certification (e.g., PHR/SHRM-CP) is a plus.
