Evri Flex couriers are an essential part of our operation. Whether it’s fitting in your deliveries around the school run or another job, you’ll have the freedom to manage your own schedule. You can take on any extra available rounds as and when you need to.

Set your availability on our app and we’ll match you to delivery rounds in your area.

Become an Evri Plus courier and get enhanced contractual benefits

Evri Plus is for couriers who want the rewards associated with full-time employment, with the freedom and flexibility of self-employment. All you need to do is commit to five or more days a week, including Saturday or Sunday and you’ll qualify for better contractual benefits. These include:

Up to 28 days paid holiday and with cover automatically provided when your holiday is properly planned
Automatic enrolment into a pension scheme for you to save into (minimum of 5% of invoiced earnings), and we’ll also pay a contribution each time you do (3%)
Additional payments as agreed with the GMB union for non-parcel delivery tasks
Maternity, paternity and adoption leave
Accident and sickness insurance cover (*subject to an additional fee)
Guaranteed earnings higher than the National Living Wage (NLW)

A day in the life of an Evri courier

So, what does a courier do? Here’s a flavour of what a typical day might look like as an Evri courier...

Manifest

You’re likely to start the day by logging in to the delivery app and downloading your manifest. This details how many parcel deliveries and collections you have on your round.

Collect parcels

Then you would visit your local Delivery Unit where you’ll be collecting all the parcels to be delivered that day.

Scan parcels

Next, you’ll scan the parcels and load up your vehicle, placing the parcels in the correct delivery order. Then it’s time to set your schedule and plan in some breaks. These schedules advise customers when they will receive their parcel. You can deliver parcels up to 9pm.

Deliver parcels

It’s time to hit the road and make your deliveries!

Turn in for the day

Once you've completed your final delivery, you're free to go about your day. Any unsuccessful delivery attempts will be rolled over to your next shift.

Frequently asked questions

If you are an Evri Plus courier, in the event of an unforeseen accident or illness, you’ll have access to accident, sickness, death and disablement support via our benefits provider Onsi. This cover provides peace of mind and financial protection should you require time off unexpectedly.

On occasion, our couriers are required to spend on admin tasks resulting from errors with parcels or issues at the delivery unit. Some examples of these are:

Mis-banded parcels
Duplicate barcodes
Parcels not ready for delivery

In these instances our couriers may be eligible to claim back up to £10 per day.
