This role will be suited to those who have a strong focus on customer service, prior experience with performing local deliveries and have a flexible approach. Responsibilities

• Delivery of consignment to various customer sites such as major DCs, shopping centres, wholesales & businesses 
• Perform local and shuttle duties as required 
• Build strong relationships with customers 
• Complete the secure delivery of items within specified time frames
• Follow company procedures associated with pre start checks, restraint of loads and securing of vehicle 
• Adherence to stringent security requirements 
• Maintain accurate records using the PDA 
• Ability to complete runs both within Melbourne area and ad hoc deliveries Interstate when required

Requirements

• Current MC licence essential
• Previous experience performing local deliveries within the Melbourne area
• "Can Do" attitude with a high standard of customer service
• Clear communication skills both written and verbal
• Knowledge of the Melbourne metro area
• Ability to follow DHL policies & procedures
• Willingness to provide a current full Driving Record when requested
• Willingness to undergo a Security Clearance & Pre Employment Medical as part of the recruitment process
