What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering polished, anticipatory, and personalized guest service
- Demonstrating expert knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and menu offerings
- Crafting classic and contemporary cocktails with consistency and attention to detail
- Guiding guests through curated beverage selections in an engaging, refined manner
- Maintaining bar presentation, inventory, and organization to the highest standards
- Ensuring dietary restrictions and allergies are handled with care and accuracy
- Addressing guest feedback with professionalism and thoughtful service recovery
- Preparing and maintaining mise en place, bar setup, and service stations
- Supporting team members to ensure seamless, elevated service
- Upholding accuracy in billing, promotions, and loyalty program engagement
- Adhering to all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Executing opening and closing procedures in line with brand standards
- Assisting with inventory control, restocking, and overall bar readiness
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization across front and back-of-house areas
- Supporting events, activations, and service flow as required
- Participating in briefings and training to uphold consistency and excellence
- Performing other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale environment
- Luxury hotel or fine dining experience is an asset
- A composed, polished, and guest-centric approach
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation setting
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Professional presentation with strong attention to detail
- Solid knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, cocktails, and specialty coffee
- Valid Serving It Right certification
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Strong command of spoken and written English
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout shifts
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to navigate stairs and service areas efficiently
- Capability to carry multiple plates and work fluidly in a busy service environment

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
