Video Editor (Real Estate)

We are seeking a high-level Video Editor specializing in cinematic, long-form YouTube content within the Real Estate industry. We are looking for a storyteller who can take 5–15 minute raw captures and transform them into polished, effects-heavy, cinematic experiences that captivate high-net-worth audiences.

The ideal candidate understands the pace of luxury real estate—blending sweeping lifestyle shots with fast-paced, information-dense segments. You should be a master of DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Products, using its advanced color grading and capabilities to deliver a "Netflix-quality" feel to every upload.

Location: Remote
Engagement: Full-Time
Schedule: Flexible, with overlap in AU working hours
Compensation: Depending on level of experience

What You’ll Do

  • Edit engaging 5–15 minute YouTube videos that maintain high audience retention through strategic pacing and narrative flow.
  • Showcase luxury properties using sophisticated transitions, speed ramping, and stabilized motion to create a "walk-through" experience.
  • Implement advanced visual effects (VFX), high-end motion graphics, and dynamic sound design to elevate the educational and promotional value of the content.
  • Utilize editing software's color nodes to ensure consistent, high-end skin tones and vibrant, architectural-grade interior/exterior shots.
  • Design and implement "pattern interrupts," zoomed-in emphasis, and on-screen graphical callouts to keep viewers engaged for the duration of the video.
  • Mix dialogue, ambient foley, and cinematic scores to ensure a professional, immersive auditory experience.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

  • 3+ years of experience editing for the Real Estate or Luxury Lifestyle sectors. You understand how to sell a property through a lens.
  • Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or After Effects.
  • A portfolio demonstrating successful long-form YouTube content (5–15 mins) with high production value.
  • Strong background in creating effects-heavy videos that don't feel "cluttered" but feel "premium."
  • Ability to take a raw folder of footage and a rough script and return a polished, "vibe-ready" first draft.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with 3D camera tracking or architectural visualization.
  • Background in drone footage optimization and color correction.
  • Knowledge of YouTube SEO and thumbnail-friendly composition.
