What is DHL Freight ESS story? 

DHL Freight Enterprise Software Solutions (ESS) is a key part of DHL’s DGFF division, which specializes in Air, Ocean, Road and Supply chain services across Europe. Over the past nine years, DHL ESS has played a central role in the largest digital transformation within DHL Freight.

The ESS team, located in Sofia (Bulgaria) and Cologne (Germany), designs, develops, and maintains a comprehensive Transport Management System (TMS). The application has been successfully rolled out across more than 32 countries, fully replacing numerous legacy systems and significantly modernizing daily operations for thousands of employees. Since its inception, the DHL Freight ESS team has been involved not only in the implementation of business logic and technological evolution of the system, but also in project governance, organizational alignment, and the design of end-to-end business processes embedded in the application.

What you will do?

•  Create, optimize and execute test cases; 
•  Develop and maintain both manual and automated tests;
•  Analyze, describe and track defects in a bug tracking system;
•  Participate in team meetings;
•  Collaborate with developers and the business representatives to clarify business requirements. What do you need in order to fit? 
•  2+ years of proven software testing experience (deep understanding of SDLC and DLC); 
•  Previous experience with Java or Python is a plus
•  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
•  Ability to clearly describe and discuss problems; 
•  Experience with test management tools and bug tracking tools;
•  Solid verbal and communication skills;
•  Experience with working in distributed teams; 
•  Ability to work independently as well as in cooperation with our team;
•  Experience with Agile methodology;
•  Fluency in English.
