The Tesla Energy Business Operations team is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Operations. Lead to support the rapid expansion of our Autobidder energy trading platform in the APAC region.

Autobidder is Tesla's innovative electricity market trading platform for battery energy storage
systems in dynamic energy markets, such as the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO).
This role is responsible for optimizing pre- and post-contract processes, ensuring effective
coordination among sales, trading, and other departments, and leveraging data analysis to inform strategic decisions.

As the primary point of contact for Sales Operations within the Autobidder team in APAC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping processes, systems, and reporting frameworks that enable growth in the Australian market. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, combines analytical rigor with operational excellence, and is passionate about innovation in renewable energy solutions.

  • Design and implement scalable sales operations processes for deal execution, contract management, and revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with global standards and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with Energy Market trading and analytics teams to build and maintain dynamic dashboards and forecasting models that provide actionable insights into regional revenue trends, market performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate billing, revenue recognition, and compliance with accounting frameworks.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks affecting revenue recognition timelines, contract fulfillment accuracy, and target achievement.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to refine revenue forecasting methodologies, incorporating market volatility, historical performance, and external factors to improve prediction accuracy.
  • Showcase revenue performance through customized reporting and executive summaries, highlighting key metrics, variances, and strategic opportunities to support decision-making at all levels.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, project management or a similar role with experience in Energy preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in building scalable processes, analysing data, and leveraging tools
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across diverse cultural
  • backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to support regional initiatives and process rollouts.
  • Diplomatic and adaptable approach to navigating complex business environments
