Join our elite team of space explorers as an Astronaut based in Orbit, with initial training and research activities conducted in Antarctica. This extraordinary role offers the opportunity to push the boundaries of human exploration and scientific discovery beyond Earth's atmosphere.

• Operate and maintain complex spacecraft systems during orbital and interplanetary missions
• Conduct cutting-edge scientific experiments and research in microgravity environments
• Perform extravehicular activities (EVAs) for spacecraft maintenance and exploration purposes
• Collaborate with international space agencies and research teams on various projects
• Participate in extensive training programs, including simulations in extreme environments like Antarctica
• Communicate mission progress and scientific findings to ground control and the public
• Contribute to the development and testing of new space technologies and exploration strategies
• Maintain peak physical and mental condition to withstand the rigors of space travel

• Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, or a related field
• Successful completion of the NASA Astronaut Candidate Program
• Minimum of 1,000 hours of pilot-in-command time in jet aircraft
• Advanced knowledge of spacecraft systems and space exploration technologies
• Demonstrated ability to conduct scientific research and experiments in challenging environments
• Excellent physical fitness and ability to pass rigorous medical examinations
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make critical decisions under pressure
• Exceptional teamwork and communication skills in multicultural environments
• Proficiency in extravehicular activities (EVAs) and spacewalk procedures
• Experience with microgravity research and its applications (preferred)
• Willingness to undergo extensive training, including extended periods in remote locations like Antarctica
• Adaptability to extreme conditions and long-duration space missions
• Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
