Asst Manager Projects Tax and Tax Software team
About the Role:
- To define project scope, goals, deliverables, and create detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Build, motivate, and guide project teams, assigning tasks and ensuring performance.
- Oversee daily project activities, track progress, manage resources, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues that arise.
- Good experience in working on Third party tools and tax software s.
- Manage updating the SurePrep system as per software updates on regular basis by using in-house tools.
- Updating of new and existing data on the required environments.
- Troubleshoot issues raised by concerned teams and see to it that it gets resolved ASAP.
- Serve as the primary contact, providing status updates, managing expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Provide project progress report to Management.
- Building an AI first mindset to streamline operations and reduce repetitive manual tasks
About You:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Commerce or a related field.
- Experience in tax software integration and application development is preferred.
- Familiarity with US tax laws and regulations is an advantage.
- 8 + Yrs of relevant experience.
- Provide valuable ideas for improving the functionality of our Software/Applications.
- Documenting issues related to third party applications.
- Entrusted with the responsibility of testing the in-house developed application and reporting any issues found.
- Working on client specific requirements.
- Knowledge of third-party tools and tax software s
- Basics for working on Microsoft SQL.
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
