Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary practice and lodge in Rittman, Ohio, seeking an Associate Veterinarian. The hospital provides care for dogs, cats, pocket pets, and exotic species, with boarding and daycare services available at their on-site Lodge.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with Sunday closed. The role is full-time, offering opportunities for mentorship, professional growth, and exposure to a diverse caseload. Emergency services are available during normal business hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care across small animals, pocket pets, and exotic species, including wellness exams, preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, laser therapy, spay/neuter procedures, and emergency care. The role is suitable for both new graduates seeking structured mentorship and experienced veterinarians looking to practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative environment.

Practice Details
The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic tools, including digital X-ray, dental radiography, ultrasound, CT scans, in-house laboratory testing, and a modern surgical suite. The facility offers heated surgical tables, advanced sterilization techniques, ECG and oxygen saturation monitors, and intensive post-operative care. Services offered include wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, laser therapy, nutritional counseling, spay/neuter, and emergency care. The practice emphasizes compassionate, relationship-centered medicine in a professional, client-focused environment.

Team
The hospital has two DVMs supported by skilled and collaborative veterinary and lodge staff. The environment is team-oriented, supportive, and focused on mentorship, professional growth, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
