Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
This person must be academically sound and possess strong technical abilities in working both Core Business logic, User interface of On-Tool and Off-tool analysis software.
- Demonstrates strong software engineering fundamentals, including problem solving, analytical reasoning, and advanced programming skills in C++, C#, and Python.
- Proven expertise in modern web development using Angular, with strong hands‑on experience in:
- Asynchronous programming paradigms such as RxJS, Observables, Promises, and async/await
- Designing responsive, performant user interfaces with a focus on clean component design and maintainability
- Ensuring robust error handling, data flow consistency, and UI reliability in asynchronous workflows
- Extensive experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures, with hands‑on exposure to containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and service‑to‑service communication.
- Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and system architecture, with the ability to mentor and coach engineers on SOLID principles, design patterns, clean architecture, and sound architectural decision-making.
- Demonstrates a strong foundation in programming fundamentals, with a clear passion for writing clean, readable, and unit‑testable code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Champions a quality-driven engineering culture, emphasizing unit testing, automated testing strategies, code reviews, refactoring, and continuous improvement.
- Expert-level proficiency in C++ and C#, including experience with performance optimization, memory management, multithreading, and concurrency concepts.
- Effective collaborator capable of working across cross-functional teams, bridging engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and business-aligned solutions.
Responsibilities
- Gather Requirements, Design, Develop, integrate, and maintain software.
- Ensuring detailed designs, code, and unit tests, robust and scalable.
- Participate in requirements definition and review process. Provide Technical assessment of the impact of any changes to product requirements.
- Closely work with Functional and Technical Manager to identify, highlight, review and mitigate technical risks
- Lead a small team of engineers on large feature developments
- Understand and make design and architectural improvements on existing software
Experience in:
- All phases of SDLC
- Strong proficiency in UML, OOP and Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and system architecture.
- Ability to mentor and coach engineers on SOLID principles, design patterns, clean architecture, and sound architectural decision-making.
- Multi-threading / Core Programming, Distributed Computing, Client Server Architecture
- Architecting scalable computing frameworks leveraging cloud-specific technologies like Kubernetes, containerization (dockers)
- Leveraging and integrating open source Messaging and logging framework such as ActiveMQ, ELK
Understanding of:
- Workflow optimization
- Parallel Computing paradigms for CPU, GPU
- Migrating monoliths into cloud-native applications
- Micro-service architectures and performance characteristics
- Linux fundamentals, Kernel Internals, Shell Scripting, GDB Debugging
- Hands-on in measuring and optimizing application for performance.
- Improving I/O, network performance and memory mgmt.
- Technology leader (with business acumen) for developing a High-performance distributed computing applications
- Performing future-proof design, code and unit test
- SME for technology stack – evaluates and integrates technologies related to HPC and private cloud for high availability and scalability needs
- Excellent communicator and collaborator across functions and geographies
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Level Degree with work experience of 4 years or Bachelor's Level Degree with work experience of 5 years
