Job Summary

The Associate Software Engineer (AI Engineer) supports the development, deployment, and operation of AI and MLpowered systems in a cloudnative environment. This role focuses on operationalizing modern AI systems—including agentic workflows and MCPbased architectures—through software engineering, automation, observability, and lifecycle management. The engineer modifies software to address issues, develops small enhancements, participates in testing and validation activities, and contributes to AI platform reliability with guidance from senior engineers.

Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis

  • Reviews, interprets, and clarifies requirements and functional designs for AI and ML workloads

  • Understands systemlevel objectives for agentic workflows, data integrations, and platform automation

Software / Application Architecture

  • Assists with documenting, maintaining, and improving architecture for AI systems, MCP server integrations, and cloudbased workflows

  • Contributes to design documentation for AI pipelines, orchestration flows, and system integration points

Software Design

  • Contributes to design documentation for AI pipelines, orchestration flows, and system integration points

Development / Coding

  • Develops and maintains Pythonbased code for small enhancements and AI/ML pipeline components

  • Fixes simple defects, participates in peer code reviews, and adheres to engineering standards

  • Integrates AI systems with APIs, data sources, and internal services

Application QA

  • Develops unit tests and participates in test case execution for AI pipelines and agentic services

  • Logs defects and collaborates with teammates to validate fixes and improvements

DevOps

  • Supports CI/CD pipelines for AI and ML workloads

  • Assists in deploying and operating services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Helps deploy and manage AI services running on Kubernetes with coaching from senior engineers

Software Reliability & Support Engineering

  • Contributes to implementing monitoring and alerting for system health, performance, and reliability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 0–3 years of professional experience

  • Proficiency in Python

  • Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

  • Strong working knowledge of SQL

  • Experience with LLM prompt engineering

  • Understanding of CI/CD and infrastructure automation concepts

  • Experience with version control and collaborative development practices

Preferred / NicetoHave Skills

  • Experience working with MCP servers

  • Experience building AgenttoAgent workflows

  • Exposure to deploying or operating LLMs in development or production settings

  • Familiarity with ML Ops practices such as model versioning, monitoring, and reproducibility

  • Experience with Kafka or eventdriven architectures

  • Knowledge of observability and reliability best practices

  • Internship, academic, or project experience operating AI systems at scale

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 80,000 - 120,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
