Purpose/Objective



    The Associate Manager - Civil will play a pivotal role within Adani’s Power division, driving civil engineering projects that support the sustainable generation and distribution of energy.
    This position requires an experienced professional committed to delivering high-quality, safe, and cost-effective civil infrastructure solutions in alignment with Adani’s core values of integrity, innovation, and environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities of Role



    - Project Planning and Execution: Lead and coordinate civil engineering aspects of power projects from conception through commissioning, ensuring timelines, quality, and budget compliance.
    - Design Review and Development: Collaborate with design engineers to review civil drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
    - Construction Supervision: Oversee on-site civil construction activities including foundations, structural works, earthworks, and infrastructure development, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
    - Vendor and Contractor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage contractors and suppliers, monitoring performance and ensuring contractual obligations are met within the agreed timelines and budgets.
    - Quality Assurance and Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to guarantee that all civil engineering deliverables meet Adani’s rigorous standards and statutory regulations.
    - Cost Management: Prepare and control project budgets, conduct cost estimates, and implement cost optimization techniques without compromising quality and safety.
    - Risk Management: Identify project risks related to civil engineering works and develop mitigation plans to ensure seamless execution and operational safety.
    - Compliance and Safety: Ensure all civil works comply with statutory, environmental, and safety regulations.
    Promote a safety-first culture aligning with Adani’s commitment to zero harm.
    - Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, procurement, and environmental teams to drive integrated project delivery.
    - Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, progress reports, and technical records to support transparent communication with senior management and stakeholders.
    - Continuous Improvement: Advocate and implement best practices, innovative construction techniques, and sustainable methods to enhance project efficiency and environmental responsibility.
    - Team Leadership and Development: Mentor junior engineers and site staff, fostering skill development and promoting adherence to Adani’s leadership principles and company culture.

Technical Competencies



    Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.
    Pro, Primavera, and MS Project.
    ,Knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical investigations,Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the power sector.
    ,Cost estimation and budgeting skills specific to civil works.

Qualifications and Experience



    Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
