- Maintaining the Licensing Database to ensure information is accurate and updating this as new licences are granted- Supporting the new store application process by completing all relevant administration such as tobacco track and trace and EC Feed Hygiene- Registering candidates on the examining body system and processing requests for colleagues to sit exams- Raising criminal record (DBS) checks through our third party provider and keeping colleagues update on the progress- Monitoring when Scotland colleagues licences are due for their refresher or renewal and communicating with them to ensure training is completed- Processing DPS Consent Forms and lodging these applications through the Government portal or councils own website- Completing the renewal forms for Petroleum Storage Certificates and liaising with local authorities on what additional evidence they may require- Managing the process of annual vapour recovery/subsistence fees and updating invoice information when received- Managing the process of alcohol licence annual fees and updating invoice information when received- Raising payments for invoices (and other statutory payments) and working with Finance to ensure these are processed correctly- Monitoring the Licensing Team and Petroleum Admin inbox and responding to any emails within 2-3 working days- Completing the application forms for Firework licence renewals and lodging these will all supporting evidence- Submitting applications for licences such as Temporary Event Notices, Fish Counters and Hazardous Waste.- Liaising with the Business Support Fuel team to resolve any local authority queries that arise during the licence renewal process- Supporting the wider Licensing Team with delivering the full remit of licensing activity to ensure the business remains compliant - High level of competency on Microsoft e.g. Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint- Strong accuracy and attention to detail- Excellent administrative skills- Expert communication and customer service skills- Strong planning and organising - Experience of tracking and managing multiple sources of information- Experience of supporting and engaging with multiple stakeholders- Experience of delivering great customer service and maintaining partnerships- Experience of having to respond to competing demands and ability to prioritise- Experience of managing external stakeholders / local authorities At Tesco, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do.
