Purpose/Objective



    Associate Lead - EHS will be responsible for implementation, and management of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and programs across all Data Centre projects.
    This role involves ensuring a safe and compliant work environment through regular audits, risk assessments, and training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of Role



    Policy Implementation: Lead the execution of EHS policies, procedures, and programs across Data Centre projects to ensure comprehensive safety and environmental compliance.
    Audit Management: Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, ensure adherence to safety standards, and assess compliance with EHS regulations.
    Risk Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate EHS risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to address identified hazards.
    Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-compliance issues, providing detailed analysis and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    Guidance and Support: Provide expert EHS guidance and support to project teams, contractors, and vendors, ensuring alignment with established safety practices and regulations.
    Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and national environmental regulations and standards, keeping abreast of any changes or updates to relevant legislation.
    Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver EHS training programs to enhance awareness, foster a culture of safety, and ensure all employees and contractors are informed of safety protocols and best practices.
    Emergency Response: Participate in the development and maintenance of emergency response plans, including conducting drills and exercises to ensure preparedness for potential emergencies.
    Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyse EHS performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety outcomes and operational efficiency.
    Digital mindset: Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness.
    Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Qualifications and Experience



    Educational Qualification: BE/BTech (Fire & safety / Industrial safety) OR BE/BTech (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) with degree or recognized diploma in industrial safety (Example: Post Diploma in Industrial Safety or Fire & Safety) OR Master's in industrial safety from recognized institute Work Experience: 6 - 10 years of experience in EHS roles, with a strong background in data centre or industrial environments.
