Associate Director - Transport Planning & Mobility

WSP is seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director – Transport Planning & Mobility to spearhead the growth of our transportation planning and mobility business across Riyadh and the wider Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In response to a rapidly expanding portfolio of projects and opportunities, this leadership role is pivotal in shaping the future of mobility in the region.

The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping sustainable, innovative, and integrated mobility solutions that support the Kingdom’s vision for the future. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact by providing technical excellence, project leadership, and business development within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment, working alongside industry leaders and contributing to transformative projects across the region. 

Projects in this role span sustainable urban development, transport policy and strategy formulation, network and master planning, multimodal transport studies, and the creation and implementation of various sustainable mobility initiatives. You will also apply human-centred design principles to drive meaningful behaviour change in mobility. Success in this position requires the ability to think critically and analytically, taking time to fully understand each client’s unique challenges before crafting tailored solutions. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and adept at developing innovative approaches that reduce uncertainty and deliver value. As a leader, you will oversee, plan, and execute a diverse portfolio of transport planning and mobility projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging a wide range of stakeholders across the region. Your commitment to technical excellence and commercial acumen will ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest professional standards.
