The Beijing team of the Fixed Income Data Department is responsible for the collection, analysis, integrated entry, data quality management and service of the full bond life cycle data operations of fixed income data in Asian Chinese, Japanese and Korean markets. The data is directly reflected in the company's core products Eikon and Workplace, which provide systematic data and services for the fixed income departments of financial institutions. Brief Job Description
The appointee will be responsible for maintenance of Korean fixed income data in a timely, accurate and complete manner, which includes bond terms and conditions data, real time market data, as well as projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect data from market sources and add them into bond database (EJV) as per Refinitiv global procedure in an accurate, timely and complete manner
- Research the fixed income market with deep market understanding and ensure the latest market convention/practice is reflected in our database/products correctly
- Monitor fixed income market data and liaise with various content/technical groups to resolve issues
- Maintain work procedures and improve efficiencies in daily data operations
- Keep improving data quality through Business Process Improvements
- Plan and fulfill data enhancement projects and assist required data projects/testing/cleanse
- Resolve queries from customers via helpdesk or from frontlines and business in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain good relationship with data sources and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Fluency in Korean and English
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree (e.g. Finance, Economics, Management, Accounting preferred)
- Prior work experience in the finance, management, accounting, economics is a plus
- Good knowledge/experience in fixed income market is a plus
