Assistant Manager/Senior Executive, eCommerce Product Marketing (2 years Contract)

Position Summary

The Product Marketer in the AV division will take ownership of the Online Exclusives portfolio — from market analysis, competitive benchmarking, go-to-market strategy, to sales promotions and sustenance. This role will work closely with Product Category Leads within the team to ensure a synergized, non-conflicting assortment that creates incremental growth for all categories within the division .

Role and Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership: Manage end-to-end product lifecycle including forecasting, pricing, channel strategy, positive contribution towards the achievement of key KPIs for Online Exclusives.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyze consumer trends, competitor landscape, and conduct regular competitor product benchmarking to measure price index. Through these category insights, work with Product Category Leads to define winning product strategies.   
  • Drive Sell-out: On-going monitoring of sales situation and initiate programs to sustain sales and brand rankings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Online team, sales, trade marketing and marketing communications teams to execute promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Promotion Management: Work closely with the Online team to plan, and run successful promotions and/or programs, not limited to just price promotions.
  • Demand Planning & managing SCM KPIs : Work with Online KAM towards the achievement of sales target and ensure timely demand forecast to meet the target. Work closely with SCM manager to ensure accurate sell-in/out forecast and manage aging inventory.
  • Product Management: Not limited to just online exclusives SKUs, maintain proper housekeeping of all online listings on Samsung.com, marketplaces.
  • Any other Ad Hoc duties and reporting

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce sales, D2C channel management, or online business development, preferably in consumer electronics or FMCG industry.
  • Equipped with knowledge on commonly used eCommerce-related KPI terminology
  • Highly organized, results-driven, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and a passion for technology and innovation.
  • Good business planning, project management and execution skills
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Able to strive in a face paced environment
