Assistant Executive Housekeeper
Operations
- Support the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing day-to-day housekeeping operations across guestrooms, public areas, laundry, linen, uniforms, and floral services
- Ensure implementation and adherence to Housekeeping SOPs and brand standards
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to maintain cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards
- Monitor guest requests and feedback, ensuring timely follow-up and service recovery where required
- Ensure VIP guests, repeat guests, and priority members receive appropriate attention and service
- Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry to ensure smooth operations and accurate room status
- Monitor usage of linen, guest supplies, and cleaning materials in line with cost control guidelines
- Assist in planning and supervising deep cleaning and preventive maintenance programs
Team Management
- Support the Executive Housekeeper in supervising and guiding the housekeeping team
- Assist in preparing staff schedules and allocating daily tasks to ensure operational efficiency
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to improve team performance and service delivery
- Ensure grooming, discipline, and performance standards are maintained
- Encourage teamwork, accountability, and a positive working environment
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance review processes
Administration & Control
- Assist in monitoring departmental expenses in line with the approved budget
- Maintain accurate records including inspections, lost & found, attendance, payroll inputs, and productivity reports
- Support preparation of reports, audits, and documentation as required
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and hygiene standards (including key control and emergency procedures)
- Supervise external contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with hotel policies and standards
Communication & Support Role
- Maintain effective communication with all departments regarding housekeeping operations
- Keep the Executive Housekeeper informed of operational issues and follow up on action plans
- Act on behalf of the Executive Housekeeper in their absence as assigned

Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Housekeeping experience as the same level
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Opera, Future Log and MC system is an advance
