The Asset Management team
Sunrock’s Asset Management team ensures the safe, reliable and high‑performing operation of our Solar‑PV and Battery assets. Our mission is to safeguard Sunrock’s installed portfolio, fulfil long‑term commitments to all stakeholders, and continuously optimise asset value. We currently manage around 250 assets with 500 MWp Solar‑PV capacity, including several Battery Energy Storage Systems, ranging from rooftop installations to ground‑mounted and floating solar sites. As we expand with new battery and energy management solutions, we focus daily on maximising performance while strengthening our ways of working. The team consists of eleven colleagues with diverse backgrounds, nationalities and expertise; a growing, dynamic group shaping the future of clean energy operations.
Overview of the role
As an Assistant Asset Manager at Sunrock, you play a central role in ensuring our solar and battery assets operate safely, smoothly and professionally. In this position, you support the Asset Managers in managing our sites, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and keeping our operational processes running efficiently. You act as the organisational hub: the first point of contact for tenants, contractors and partners, ensuring clear communication, proper site access and well‑coordinated on‑site appointments. With strong administrative skills, a proactive mindset and a talent for connecting people, you help deliver the high-quality service Sunrock stands for. The day-to-day tasks include (for example):
Be the primary contact for Asset Managers, tenants, contractors and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth and proactive communication.
Coordinate 10–30 on‑site visits per week and manage all aspects of site access.
Handle incoming emails and calls with a fast response mindset and clear follow‑up.
Maintain and update stakeholder information and contact details.
Verify and process incoming invoices and manage required documentation and certificates in Contractify.
Work efficiently in non‑standardised processes and help improve and structure ways of working.
Keep oversight of multiple parallel requests and activities across different assets.
Act as a flexible, social and service‑oriented team member within Sunrock’s central Asset Management team
