Assistant Area Stock Controller (Full Time, Permanent)

Applications are invited for the role of Assistant Area Stock Controller on a permanent full-time basis. Based in Value Centre Clonmel, the general purpose of this role is to support the smooth operation of the Buying function within Value Centre, using the established systems and resources.

Some of the major tasks involved in this role are as follows:

·        Deliver optimum product availability through driving continuous improvements in supplier service level

·        Planning and ordering all stocks with suppliers.

·        Manage dated stock and slow selling lines efficiently.

·        Ensure the smooth running of promotions by ensuring all stock is pre ordered and available for all promotional activity.

·        Monitor and manage promotional bonuses on offer lines.

·        Control of FIFO and stock turnover and stock days.

·        Other administration duties as requested.
