What you´ll do This lab based Application Engineer will lead internal and external technical requests and projects for the Packaging Labeling team within the Consumer Goods Adhesives (APC) group Support and communicate with both the APC Application Engineering Field Team and Sales Team from our Bridgewater site by using a variety of digital tools Prioritize and carry out concurrent testing in the laboratory based on incoming customer requests and other projects; testing includes performing physicals, performance, and applications methods for product recommendations, troubleshooting needs, performance validation of new products, etc. Create and adapt test methods/plans based on specific customer needs and applications within the Packaging Labeling market Organize and analyze lab results with internal databases and other digital tools. Interpret data to make product recommendations, develop solutions, or propose subsequent experimental steps Prepare clear laboratory reports for customer correspondence, which present findings and conclusions. Make presentations to internal work group or Packaging and Labeling department as needed Run and ensure laboratory and application equipment are calibrated and safety checked; ensure both lab equipment and the labs are properly maintained Lead ongoing harmonization and administration of laboratory test methods Run and perform customer lab demonstrations using application equipment
