App Store Relations Manager
We’re looking for an App Store Relations Manager who will serve as the strategic bridge between our product teams and platform gatekeepers to ensure uninterrupted global service and marketplace stability. Your mission is to masterfully navigate the complexities of app store policies, defending our ecosystem against rejections while proactively shaping our product roadmap to meet evolving compliance standards.
What You'll Do 🎯
Lead high-stakes negotiations and formal appeals within the Apple Resolution Center to reverse rejections and mitigate the risk of app deletions or account-level penalties.
Architect a proactive compliance framework that audits new features against App Store Review Guidelines during the design phase, drastically reducing time-to-market for critical releases.
Collaborate with Senior PMs and Legal Counsel to interpret shifting global regulations and translate them into technical requirements that safeguard our rewarded monetization models.
Cultivate direct relationships with Worldwide Developer Relations representatives to gain early insights into platform shifts and secure "white-glove" support for major launches.
Execute rapid-response strategies during platform crises, coordinating across engineering and marketing teams to implement mandatory changes without losing user momentum.
What You'll Bring 💡
Experience managing complex App Store disputes, specifically successfully navigating the App Review Board appeal process for "grey-area" features or business models.
Deep technical literacy in AdTech and User Acquisition, including a firm grasp of how rewarded mechanics and offerwalls interact with tracking transparency frameworks.
Expertise in App Store Connect and Play Console management, with a focus on managing multi-app portfolios and maintaining "Good Standing" status across global regions.
Background in policy interpretation, with the ability to turn dense legalistic guidelines into actionable product documentation for developers.
Bonus: Direct experience as a former App Store Reviewer or in a Developer Relations role at a major platform provider.
