Purpose of the Job: Lead RFQ project development process (PV 2/3 W) till SOP as per RFQ timelines. Single point of technical window, on behalf of R D, for continuous onsite support to OEMs. Effective communication to internal and external stakeholders and close looping. Major Responsibilities: First line of Defense from Apollo tyre to Regional OEMs R D/Engineering teams. Build business rapport with OEM R D/Engineering, Testing and Purchase teams. Lead and coordinate new RFQ understanding and design proposal explanation. Support pre-screening, sample submission and other coordination activities with OEMs. Lead necessary coordination discussion with design and test team from OEMs. Collect intelligence from OEMs for future projects and upcoming changes/challenges in OEM strategy. Periodic reporting of status and escalation of high priority tasks for resolution. Coordination with QA/SCM teams for test sample submission, PPAP Audits etc. to respective OEMs. OE Customer portal management. Skills: Knowledge (Technical / Functional) Vehicle Dynamics and Tyre performance needs. Tyre Design/Manufacturing process. Statutory / Regulatory / testing norms related to Vehicles/Tyres OEM Business development systems and processes. Skills: Communication/ Networking / Negotiation skills Language proficiency in English and local languages if any basis business need. Analytical / Objection Handling and Soft Skills. Relevant Experience: Min. 10 – 12 Years experience Work experience with reputed Tyre / Vehicle manufacturer as OE coordinator or OE Customer service domain. Education Qualification(s): Mechanical / Automobile Engineer Rubber / Polymer Technology
